Intro into Biomedical Technician Work

Detailed 2-day course that will teach biomedical personnel who are new to the field with  recognizing complex problems, troubleshoot effectively, learn how to present information and technical writing, hands on training with basic medical equipment and test equipment, soft skills, and resume review. Small class size, maximum number of students five per class. Morning classes and evening classes offered. 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Price of class is 750.00 per student. Guaranteed paid internship at the conclusion of the course. ​

Advance Your BMET skills

1 Day 5-hour course all online. Schedule to be determined when classes fill. Cost: 300.00
Class will explain in detail the different levels of biomedical technicians and Imaging techs, Review of Association of the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) certification, the differences between a biomedical technician and a clinical engineer. Resume review and key terms to include a stronger presentation.  ​

Intro to Working in Surgery department as Biomed

1 Day 4-Hour course all online. Schedule to be determined when classes fill. Cost: 250.00.  Class will explain how to succeed in the surgery department as a biomedical technician, how to work with surgical staff and surgeons, common medical terminology to remember, troubleshooting techniques, and introduction to image guidance technology.
